I'm not sure why the other braindead drummers think your religion is somehow going to correlate with both what you play and how you play. Something to point out, not one of the comments I've seen have a realistic response to you. Coming from a non drummer who wishes he were .. This doesn’t seem like a fake gotcha that i was expecting. .. I’m just not seeing what he’s saying .. seems like he played it one the set to backing track .. they reordered it .. maybe edited a thing or two … and had the full track on the back for the video.

I am in my mid 50's and picked up the bass guitar 7 months ago with no experience, save a tiny bit of skill in playing a lick or two on the banjo. I am loving it. My bass instructor suggested I take up drums too to help my bass playing, timing, etc. Well, who doesn't think the drums are cool??? At any rate, I have a practice pad and stand on the way. All this said, this was a great video. I have watched this many times, but to have Nikilai, as a young man and accomplished drummer, give such sound commentary on Buddy's playing...it made for such a great and, shall I say, reverent, video. Thanks Nikolai! New subber here!

And one more time for you The drum I played there in London when I was 16 had no ticked base kicks and it also wasnt my E drum either. It was a basic 300 bucks garbage drum. trying to kick 32nds is physically impossible. But you obviously wouldnt know that, because you wouldnt need these ticks and wouldnt know therefore, because you cannot double kick that fast. Lol

Here is a guy covering the exact song. The parts you claimed were single strokes, were not singles. They were doubles played fast and lightly. You get the power from samples and high velocity that’s no brainer for triggers. I can easily tell that he was playing doubles on the fast parts of this song. Also if you think this is impossible to play I don’t you have been paying attention to a lot of extreme metal drummers in the world. It’s obvious the drums were using midi sample at high velocity, but the playing is real. Also you making a video saying you don’t like the guy. For what reason are you saying you do not like him for? You just hate that he is using triggered drums, and that bothers you. This is common in extreme metal to use samples for mostly all of the drums.
